Center for Family Health

The Center for Family Health in partnership with Jackson Public Schools, offers several school-based health centers, giving families easy access to affordable medical and behavioral-health services.
Our local health centers include:
-
Jackson High Health Center – serves patients through age 21
-
Parkside Health Center – serves patients of all ages
-
Northeast Health Center – serves patients of all age
These centers operate exactly like your family doctor’s office — right inside the school. They are open to all students, no matter which school they attend. Students under 18 simply need parental permission for treatment.
Services include:
-
Physicals and immunizations
-
Diagnosis and treatment of illnesses
-
Chronic-condition care
-
Hearing and vision screenings
-
Mental health and behavioral health therapy
-
Preventive care, education, and referrals
All centers are open on weekdays, year-round. Patients seen at school health centers may also use the Center for Family Health’s downtown medical and dental clinics on N. Jackson Street.
The Center for Family Health accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most insurance plans, and also offers a sliding-fee discount program. No one is turned away due to inability to pay.
