Letter from Assistant Principal Coffie
Welcome Back to the 2024-2025 School Year!
Dear Jackson High School Community,
Hello and welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! My name is Anthony Coffie, and I am honored to serve as the 10th Grade Assistant Principal at Jackson High School. As we embark on this new academic journey, I am excited to share our commitment to fostering a unique culture of diversity that stands unparalleled in our county.
At Jackson High School, we take immense pride in our varied AP courses, AP prep courses through the AVID program, and a host of extracurricular opportunities, sports programs, and social clubs. These offerings provide our students with a well-rounded educational experience, ensuring that each child receives the proper structures, systems, and experiences necessary to succeed both in school and in life.
Our talented staff is a diverse pool of educators, including those who were raised right here in Jackson and those who have joined us from various parts of the country. This blend of local and global perspectives enriches our learning environment, making it both engaging and dynamic. Our educators are dedicated to using visible learning strategies and continuously engaging in student-focused professional development to ensure the effectiveness of their teaching methods.
We, the faculty and staff at Jackson High, are eager to collaborate with you to provide our students with the expectations, experiences, and exposure they need to understand work readiness and develop a lifelong passion for learning. Together, we will create a supportive and inspiring environment where every student can thrive.
Welcome back, and let’s make this school year a remarkable one!
Warm regards,
Anthony Coffie
